If you could see the way I spend my life
If you could see how I cried at night
If you could see what I portrait
If you could see the bird sit in it's cage
Watching the world through its own eyes
singing a tune...which no one seem to understand

If you could hear the pain within the laughter
If you could see the smile fade away
If you could understand the reason why
If you could see me run so far, afraid of being touch
If you could only see how I'm drowning in my own tears

If you could only see beyond these flesh and bones
If you could only see beyond the words
If you could only see what it taste like
If only you could see
If only you could see...
